You are invited to an Extraordinary General Meeting of OiR Ayr, to be held at the beginning Speakers Group meeting on 17th May 2022 at 1.30 in Ayr Town Hall.
The only item on the Agenda at this EGM is the vote on the following amendments to the Constitution.
These amendments have been brought about by the need to reinstate the Office of Treasurer in the Constitution. The wording of the amendments was agreed at the AGM held on 19th April 2022.
5(b) The office bearers will be the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Minute Secretary. These office bearers will hold office for 2 years but be eligible for re-election.
11 The Treasurer shall ensure that OSCR (Scottish charity regulator) compliant financial controls and reporting is in place. The Treasurer will ensure that monthly financial reports are issued to the trustee executive committee for review. The Treasurer will ensure that annual fiscal accounts are approved by the trustees and duly authorised by the Chair.
